Too late Micron.
Their inventories are ballooning out of sight -- well higher in terms of days sales that any time in modern history (at least 1995) by a large margin.
They are currently sitting on about 140 days of inventory and it is expected to climb further. That measure is rarely over...
Very clever, announce the cuts loudly to get your oligopolist buddies at Samsung and SK Hynix to do the same.
A criminal act would be to actually have a meeting to plan cuts, this is the sneaky bitch way to get around that problem.
And they suggest a strong password, like it's a user issue.
That would helps if FB could do something really crazy, like not keeping passwords in plain text files.
How strong is strong in plain text?
Try to keep up. Disney does NOT own Fox News. Fox news was spun off with some other assets Tuesday and is still controlled by Rupert Murdock. Paul Ryan is on the new board of directors.
While it is a good overview of the Lakes, I am even more confused what belongs in which lake. Probably best to just throw the whole lot of them into the Great Lakes and start over with a new catchy name, like oh say Pentium X. ;)
So what's new? Windows updates are poorly tested and bork up systems, status quo remains intact.
How about we allow a lot more control over updates by users, radical idea I know.
You know if you add up all the people killed wrongfully by cops lately, it outnumbers the plague.
Black kid with a walkman -- kill him. Guy answering the door -- kill him. Dude runs -- shoot him in the back.
Lots of cop fuck ups.
But yeah, this asshat should die in a deep dark hole from...
Sharing is caring, but Samsung wants to stay the big kid on the block:
Samsung sent Apple a "7.2-inch size foldable panel. 7.2 inches is 0.1 inches smaller than the Samsung Folder 'Galaxy Fold'."
Who wants a **tiny** 7.2 inch folder when Samsung is 7.3 inches of shiny?
Size matters. ;)
NVIDIA and/or AMD should have a limited time big rebate (like $50-250 based on model MSRP) for a limited time.
That would allow them to move a lot of cards but keep their exorbitant pricing baseline intact.
Greedy fools.
Most "studies" in the entertainment area reach the conclusion that is desired by the sponsoring $$.
I just finished a study that concluded there is no piracy at all, that term is just a fantasy excuse by corporate management -- my study included 2 or so computers on the network at work, nope...
While that's a start, sadly it isn't enough for the young enlistees who grew up on connectivity.
Like the stupid kid that took pictures on his nuclear sub, no ill intent just no real thought process.
While mine is a totally different environment, we battle daily with all our young techs and...
This is great, just sit a robot down front row center at Presidential news conferences that writes fake news. So long Jim Acosta. ;)
This just in: Federal Reserve chairman having sex with donkeys.
Nah, unbridled greed will prevent that most likely. Besides, think of all that spare money new builders have from lower memory and SSD prices that can just go into NVIDIA's pocket. ;)
