BBM works great for talking, both with and without video. I used it for two weeks while working in Indonesia, didn't get a sim card just used WiFi. All calls to and from Canada worked great. PS. I work for BB, however my experience with BBM over long distances has been awesome.

Thanks for the reply, The whole network is static, same gateway 192.168.1.1, every computer on the network has the same dns. Subnet is 255.255.255.0 xenserver console shows the nic, I was able to assign a ip, has the mac address..etc, I would think xen recognized the nic, if it allows this...

Is it possible that your network connects to a router, and the port mumble uses is not open? Windows sounds like it's going to allow mumble to work, after your popup, however the router/switch doesn't know it yet.
