anyone know the release date for Halo Master Chief for PC

Hey Dan... Noticed your rig very much like mine... My original setup was with EK custom water cooling on the CPU. It looked amazing when finished w/ the blood-red coolant. So, everything assembled, no leaks, first boot > NADA, turned out to be bent pins on CPU slot of MB. SO, had to take...

Mounting hardware for water block to CPU

The mounting hardware I have with the EK Evo nickel water block has me confused. There are two 4 piece sets of mounting screws in the packet. One set is called 'M4 mounting studs' and is for an LGA2011 CPU, and the other set is called 'M4 threaded thumb screws' which are for the LGA 1151 (what...

I finally have my new rig up and running (listed below). What should be my safe temperature range when I'm playing an intense game of Battlefield 1 online/multiplayer? And how/when do I check those temps, during the game, right after the game? I have CPUID/HWMonitor and CPUID/CPU_Z.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yes. I could not get 2 8GB sticks to work. I flashed to the latest '2002' bios. We thought it was a defective RAM slot. I couldn't return the MB to Amazon for a replacement as I was past the date. I sent the MB to Asus @ a week ago for a warranty repair. They got it back to me yesterday, and so...

Mini-ITX Asus Z170i Pro Gaming... issue

We could not get this MB to work with RAM in both memory slots, regardless of the speed of the memory. For the first 4 weeks or so I used one 8GB stick defaulting down to -2133 speed from it's rated -3200. I tried other RAM as well...NADA. I missed the Amazon return date to get a replacement...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have my C14 w/ heatpipes facing the back of the case.... Sidenote.... My MB either has a defective RAM slot or memory controller (often caused by over-tightennig the HSF screws thru the MB, per the Asus tech that I exchanged emails with.) Asus received the MB yesterday. I'm hoping for a 7-10...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Ok, I know the answer to this, but I'm hoping I'm wrong... I need to put a stick of ram in the open slot on my Asus Z170 MB. So, side fan bracket off first, then the 1080, and my Noctua HSF(C14)... will be in the way and I have to remove that as well to get the ram in? What a PITA.

Freaky thing happened today. Got a DAC a while back and decided to use it for better sound. Well, I got the new rig going as of 2 days ago. It was amazing how fast the Win 10 OS on the MS flash drive installed...What took a while was DL/installing all the updates. I can't view that image... it's blocked for some reason. But, I see what you meant when I just checked the case back side... I still had that little cover plate on there which prevented the 1080 from coming out... DOH, DOH, DOH.............. Got the 1080 off the MB, but even w/ the card...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

It seems like when I try to remove the 1080 from the back (side where that little tab is on the card) first as you say, then the opposite end of the card where it fits into the little slot on the back I/O side of the case prevents that. A guy over at the Anandtech forums said, "...The little...
