Steam Deck just turned 1 year old, how soon do you realistically think they will release the successor / upgrade? The Valve Index hasn't been updated in almost 4 years now, granted the Steam Deck is probably generating a lot more game sales for Valve.
I remember hosting a LAN party for my birthday and we were tripping the circuit breakers in my parents house with all the Amps we were pulling. Had to run extension cords to different parts of the house to evenly distribute the load across the panel!

Yea I have an old pentium D fan here which is a goliath in comparison to the celeron heatsinks. I'm doubting the smaller heatsink design is more efficient or anything, so the old heatsink should do the trick.
I opted for the GA-H55M-S2H + i3 530 combo at frys for $110 and am thoroughly enjoying this set up.

Invest in a good audio receiver, and just send all your audio data through spdif or hdmi. Computers are just a rats nest of electrical interfence which muddies your sound.
I wan't to VNC with the iPad to a virtual machine, will I need to install a VNC service in the guest operating system, or will something like VMWare server have vnc service running on its own?
I feel that they are not too concerned in cutting costs or finding the best deals for their component and therefore don't lower their prices of the final product.
