If your mobo does not have two PCI-E x16 slots then yes lowering it to the PCI-E x 8 slot will harm performance alot.

This is just a guess but I'm thinking this demo does not support Duel Core AMD processors well. I'm getting the same FPS as FallGuy's crossfire rig on a single x1800xl with +3400. Now that really makes no sense.

You can't even turn on AA with CCC for the ATI cards. Its just the way the engine was built I think even on the xbox 360 theres no AA. Edit: I just tried it the first time I did it, it seemed to work but I was wrong.

I have an Asus X1800XL and for what it´s worth when I installed it the first time with the cd it came with it screwed up a lot of things even though I cleaned my drivers. I then formatted and only installed Cat 6.2 beta and now all my glitches are gone.

This is what 3d marks is good for. Find someone with a simular rig compare your scores. And check if this error is screwing perfomance. CSS is a cheap game the source engine runs smooth on DX7 cards.
