Thanks, I will have a look. I settled on Handbrake partly because it was the most recommended free app and partly because it the batch program to allow you to do a batch of videos

Like you I don't believe Plex is the End all and Be all but it is decent. You made a good point in that you like the directory view and how shows just show up. Some thing with Kodi to the point that it even tells you what has just been added.

It sounds like Plex is the major player for media servers but what about Kodi? I found plex some what combersome to set up and just use Kodi and a NAS and it I don't have to pay for Plex. Never really understood what it is that you are paying for as they have the Free version.

It looks like chip shortage is spreading into SSD's as well so get them while they are still cheap

If only there was a decent video card to be had at a decent price.

I find flying around on planets or in space the hardest on it but the app definitely helped although the card is still running at 99%. Either way the game is still playable... Just the human factor of always wanting to pay at the best resolution I guess Admittedly this game is not for everyone...

I will give it a try but from what Afterburner was showing it is the Video card that is the bottleneck. I found a program called Low Specs experience and it tuned my settings in the game which helped

thanks for the info. Appreciate the reply I actually did not come to the site for the invite. I was actually looking for Video card info which member graciously provided. The invite section was just an added bonus. I will do my best to post but I tend to be more of a lurker I guess. X
