I don't quite know what to atribute this to, but all of a sudden my system is getting quite hot. I have the system shut down alarm in CMOS set at 65c and if I stress the system even the slightest bit (3dmark03) the temp shoots up, the alarm goes off and she shuts down. It's difficult to say...

I just got my 9800 pro from newegg and boy did I have problems wit the catalyst 4.2s.Wouldn't load. Driver cleaner did no good for me, but I had another radeon (8500). Had to re-format, but then they loaded lickety split

Ok, if any one is still interested ,formated and reinstalled windows. Should have just done it in the first place.installed drivers without a glitch(4.2) benchmark sucks though, only like 4928 with 3dmark03 build 3.4.0. Any suggestions?
