on the new t61's, the wide screen version has a max of a 7 cell vs. the standard screen at 9 cell. When I looked up specs on the batteries, from what I can tell the 7 cell actually operates at 14.4V with 5.2Ah and the 9 cell is at 10.8 at 5.2Ah... so 74.88 Wh vs. 84.29 Wh.... I think...

I emailed them earlier today and they said they would mail some replacements monday, awesome.

where can I get some of these? These aren't the normal screws, they are the ones that fit through the rubber grommet for the hard drives.

I haven't checked it under my faculty/staff discounts yet... that might be cheaper. On the apple webpage it has a faculty/staff thing now and it was the same as the student discount. I might upgrade if it really is that much faster. I feel that apple just takes things that have been around...

Apparently it was a typo through my schools Software licensing department :( They thought it was going to be the same price as tiger.
