Oh did any of you guys play Soul Blazer? That was a surprisingly good game. Not a best, but really really good none the less. More adventure/rpg ish though
FF VI (3) - was one of the most amazing RPG's I ever played as a kid.
Chrono Trigger - another best in class game, equal to FF3
Secret of Mana - this is the game that got me hooked on RPG's, thought it's not turn based
Zelda was great but that's more of an adventure game. traditional RPG...
So it seems to be my 2nd hard drive (weird huh?). The system is running normally but I whenever i boot into windows normally I get a BSOD if the hard drive is plugged in. Luckily it's my data drive but I'm wondering what the hell is going on. the even WEIRDER thing is that if I boot to safe...
So twice now I've run into BSOD's with the SNP25, once when there was an automatic update, to which removing the 1CPU line addition in the boot.ini seem to fix (makes no sense) and another tonight after installing the latest Nvidia 78.01 drivers for my 7800GTX.
I un-installed the drivers I...
Just downloaded it, and am thinking about installing it. I'm not a big fan of a beta bios but when your not using both of your cores on a duel core extreme measures present themselves :-)
So after the recent (tuesday 8/9) release of MS patches XP crashed with a BSOD in a loop. I went into safe mode, removed them, to no avail. After playing around a ton, I did the /onecpu to the boot.ini and bam everything's back to normal so be careful if your installing the latest batch of MS...
I was working at microsoft for a while and since we have a site licence I have gone from NSE 8.6 to BE 9.1 and now to BE10. 9.1 and 10 are very similar, but 10 has policy based backup rotations. The other major feature I liked with BE10 was that they moved back to a central admin server option...
So I'm having random issues with my computer, and I'm begining to think it's the PSU. Just about anytime the system is shutdown completely or removed from power, I have trouble getting the computer to boot back up. Sometimes I get the Post beep that no RAM is installed, sometimes that no Video...
Well, I plan on seeing if it's even feasble. I don't want to lose my Asus warrenty by making any permentant changes to the laptop, so we'll see if it's even doable easily. No point in getting a laptop with a bad ass warrently only to tear it apart and negate the best part of the package.
You guys should read up on Asus warrenty, it's much, much better then Dell's, they even have a zero bright pixel policy for the first 30 days of the laptop on some of their newer models.

I work out at the gym all the time, but I must say having a laptop around 9lbs sucks balls for traveling.
I'm in the same market for the exact same laptop you are, and I'm heavily considering the Asus W3v. If you want a 15" screen go with the Asus A7V or if you want a bit more performance...
