It's here! I never received a shipping confirmation from Caseking and my order is still showing as "Being processed", but the UPS guy just showed up at my door with this today (shipping date shows as 4.1. on the label). Not that I would complain :D
Now the only thing I'm missing is cabling as...
Uh, I'm not 100% sure how to interpret this. I have my order placed from CaseKing before 30-JUN-17, so where will I get the case from "directly" and would this be before "mid-end January" as well?
I point of view for this: Pre-ordering from resellers requires to pay the case in advance in most cases as well, but this shouldn't be an issue as the resellers will get their cases in the summer as they were promised (right..?) If the production takes six months it should already be underway as...
12:51 only, probably too late even though the silver ones were showing as available a while after that as well. I called CK and they were able to see that my payment is shown as failed which is why the order got cancelled, even though I got a successful payment notification from PayPal as usual...

Still have a black one in basket from OCUK, just in case I ever get to the checkout and it still counts as reserved for me. Ordered a silver from CaseKing as a backup though.

The second window design looks better in my opinion (purely looks, I mean). Having either one would reduce portability but since either one of them would be optional I don't see a real drawback here. However, I could see the latter one having too much of an opening on the top for dust to find...
Hmm, not sure if this has been mentioned here or in some other thread already, but there is a revision without semi-fanless system out now:
- Update: After this review went live, SilverStone provided us some helpful information on the issues facing the original SX500. It is planning on...
