DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

It's here! I never received a shipping confirmation from Caseking and my order is still showing as "Being processed", but the UPS guy just showed up at my door with this today (shipping date shows as 4.1. on the label). Not that I would complain :D Now the only thing I'm missing is cabling as...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Caseking now lists A4 to ship on 4.1. which would be this Thursday, so I guess quite close :)

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Uh, I'm not 100% sure how to interpret this. I have my order placed from CaseKing before 30-JUN-17, so where will I get the case from "directly" and would this be before "mid-end January" as well?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

I point of view for this: Pre-ordering from resellers requires to pay the case in advance in most cases as well, but this shouldn't be an issue as the resellers will get their cases in the summer as they were promised (right..?) If the production takes six months it should already be underway as...

So how limited the memory (or Z270 mobo) options become with AR05?

12:51 only, probably too late even though the silver ones were showing as available a while after that as well. I called CK and they were able to see that my payment is shown as failed which is why the order got cancelled, even though I got a successful payment notification from PayPal as usual...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Hmm, last this I heard from CaseKing was a confirmation e-mail of the order, but looking at "My orders" page under my account now shows "The order has been cancelled". Guess I got to the checkout there too late :|

Still have a black one in basket from OCUK, just in case I ever get to the checkout and it still counts as reserved for me. Ordered a silver from CaseKing as a backup though.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

This... Why? Unless I've missed something substantial the 3.1 is useless with A4(?) Heatsink for M.2 sounds great though, especially with such a small enclosure as A4. Dual M.2 in an ITX board also tells how long Asus wanted to stick with U.2 :D Having serious doubts with ASRock's general...

Any estimate on availability through Caseking and Overclockers?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

The second window design looks better in my opinion (purely looks, I mean). Having either one would reduce portability but since either one of them would be optional I don't see a real drawback here. However, I could see the latter one having too much of an opening on the top for dust to find...

    Silverstone SX500-LG 500W Gold SFX-L

Hmm, not sure if this has been mentioned here or in some other thread already, but there is a revision without semi-fanless system out now: - Update: After this review went live, SilverStone provided us some helpful information on the issues facing the original SX500. It is planning on...

Skylake-Based Z170 Gaming Mini ITX Motherboard

I'm eventually leaning towards the Z170N-Gaming 5 over the AsRock Fatal1ty ITX as well. A question regarding the "terrible fan control" that's brought up every now and then: What does it actually mean? I'm planning to have a i7 6700 (non-k) with a Cryorig C7 and no overclocking whatsoever, so...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Yes, generally they would be, but it's my understanding that 950 isn't fine in, uh, any configuration without a little help. If that's possible this solves it then :)

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Backed - finally! Still wondering about M.2 SSD cooling though (with mobos that have the M.2 slot on the back of the mb); Samsung 950 tends to run a bit hot apparently and I would like to avoid throttling alltogether, but the riser cable prevents any custom heat-dissipation solutions...

Skylake-Based Z170 Gaming Mini ITX Motherboard

M8I is a no-go for me too, the M.2 slot is a must have. Not interested in MacGyver solutions either so MSI is out of the list as well, which narrows it down to GigaByte and ASRock. Do GigaByte boards still have fan control issues mentioned somewhere here earlier? Otherwise is there any...

    Silverstone SX500-LG 500W Gold SFX-L

Slightly highjacking the thread here, but I'm trying to figure out which 500w SFX(-L) to go with as well. I wouldn't want to risk it with a possibly clicking SilverStone unit either, and as Phuncz has pointed out a few times I can't see a reason why not to go with a Sharkoon unit for example. It...

ASUS North America - ASUS Z170 Motherboards Q&A Thread

If we're to expect Maximus VIII Impact later on, is it safe to say that Z170-I Pro Gaming line aligns with Z97-I Plus or is it more (or less) advanced in comparison?
