i agree, imaging and soundstage sucks on all headsets, so like he said, get the 555's or maybe if you want to bump up to the 595 it would be a smart idea. and thats supposed to be a good mic. and for closed cans, the A500 and up would fit the bill nicely

thing is, podcasts are just mp3's... I myself being a creative zen touch 40 gig (my e wee-nee) owner, i listen to podcasts. you can listen to them on your computer and everything. so you dont HAVE to have an ipod to listen to them
