they make don't make allot money from the consoles. they do make a profit, but it's tiny. Nvidia finicials have back up there assertitions that the oppurtunity cost was not worth it for them. AMD didnt really have choice, I'm sure if they had had, more profitable options they would have walk...
Does this suprise anyone? it's been this case for years about AMD having terrible developer support. On the other hand, for years there have been stories of Nvidia sending engineers and making sure games works on well on thier hardware.
