So I just picked up a new 2 TB drive (Seagate 2TB 32mb cache 7200rpm)
To toss in an enclosure and use as a backup for files - it would nice to have the drive useable by all my computers
Gaming Rig / Windows 7
MacBook Air / Mountain Lion
Work Computer / Ubuntu
Sandbox CPU / Linux Mint...
So my current keyboard line up is
- IBM Model M (1984) - prefer to save it from gaming abuse.
- Original Logitech G15 (random keys are dead and the back lighting is spotty at best..)
So I want a new keyboard to replace the Logitech - something mechanical and maybe ten keyless - will be...
i have not overclocked anything - however one of the ram settings was set to "turbo" presets -- i backed it down to standard and that did not appear to do anything
system is about 1.5 years old ..
works great with only 1 stick of ram
processor: intel q660
motherboard: gigabyte ep43 ds3l
video card: nvidia 9800gtx
ram: gskill ddr2 800 , pc2 6400
harddrive: western digital blue 640gb
last year i put together a new cpu build and at the time i only had 2gb of ram...
this week i purchased a set of gskill 2x2gb ddr2 pc6400 and when ever i try to run 2 sticks the computer will freeze and lockup - i have tried different combinations of ram slots
my motherboard is gigabyte...
if you click "view account" under the store drop down menu you can then hit "purchase history".
also you could try "authorizing" your computer before trying to transfer purchases
i think ebay might be your only option at this point for g4's
you could also check and see if there are any authorized 3rd party repair centers near you
im going to try re-seating the ram and video card ... and then try the sticks individually ... any other ideas ?
i tryed the new beta drivers from nvidia
so i just finished putting together and installing everything for my new build, seems to be running pretty good
but now randomly the computer will lock up and freeze... the image will remain on the monitor and a steady beep or shriek will come from the speakers... any ideas ?
intel q6600...
for both of my previous builds the Lian Li PC65 was one of the top picks for computer builds at that time...
i am now about to upgrade my hardware and i was wondering if you think this case would be able to handle cooling a quad-core q6600 build.
thanks
