Well, to give Jensen a little credit, it was safe, until crypto went booming again and nvidia forgot to provide some actual stock of their cards.Wow this is spectacularly underwhelming.

If the 3060 really ends up being not even better than a 2060s then I can only consider getting the 60 ti or see what AMD offers. Perhaps this is not surprising, as Nvidia went with the low cuda core count GA106-400 expected to be a 3060 6gb (see OP). This would've been a sub $300 card, but with the extra ram price went up.
The more information we have about this, the more disappointing this launch is becoming. I don't think I'd want this card at all, barely any performance uplift for $20 less (at MSRP which we likely won't pay for a while anyway). I guess %11 uplift for ~%10 less money than a 2060 is still a net positive but yo, it's been 2 years. This is nowhere enough a generational tier improvement in my book.
No thanks. I'm not that desperate for a new GPU. And you said it was safe for us Pascal owners to upgrade, Jensen. Doesn't seem to be the case.
