Another chair that I would recommend is the Steelcase Leap. I bought both the Leap and the Embody for an extended in home test. The Leap is very comfortable as well. I kept the Embody just because it looks cooler

My work has Steelcase Leap's at the office. I too found them similar in comfort, but with an edge to the Embody. (I love how the Embody seems to move with you a bit.) Looks... yeah, I am not a huge fan of the Leap's looks.
Haha! Walwaka's liquor is so that it feels like a stranger, lol.First post!! I actually registered to show off my desk and point out that walwalka, you have a lot of lotion and liquor on your setup!!! Crucial to any man cave i suppose LOL
Only reason there is no visible lotion and liquor is cause i JUST reupped my supply!
Built it myself out of MDF used Ikea Desk Legs.
Actually Not to hard to do with a Jigsaw.
Less then $20 for the Sheet of MDF, $5 x6 = $30 For the Legs, $5 for a can of Paint.
So like $55 for a Desk
Goodfellow or Keesler? I'm pretty sure all Tech Schools have this same shitty desk.
You guys have some awesome setups! Some of you make my office look like the back alley special

Love the Mass Effect Poster!! Or is that an AMD Poster? regardless I want it!
I meant to ask about what components you picked, i.e. which fabric, frame color, base etc. I got the carbon balance fabric, white frame, aluminum base, and translucent casters. I felt like the rhythm fabric is too thin and provides no cushion.

Right. From my original email to Tsunami Axis (the Scottish dealers): titanium base, carpet casters, adjustable arms, graphite frame, and Twilight rhythm covering for the seat and back.
Quad - that's beautifully insane. do you laugh like a school girl when you walk into the room or has that worn off?
Oh that is paint? Looks like some kind of veneer or laminate. I thought about going with some kind of do it yourself MDF desk.... I helped my roomate 20 years ago build a huge workbench kind of like that. What I didn't like was that the MDF doesn't have a very smooth surface and started getting all these nicks and divots etc.
Nope, hasn't worn off yet. Every day I drool on myself just a little bit. Especially everytime I fire up Battlefield 4 or World of Warcraft.
Very nice. What do you think of the Rhythm fabric? I've only had fabric swatches to play with.
What about airflow my friend? I'd be all for putting a rack in a wooden cabinet and making it look nice if airflow wasn't such an issue. I'm looking to rackmount 2 gaming rigs and 1 server box.
That's a intake fan to cool the gpu
Holy cow! What is that thing?!
Looks like a Wacom Cintiq, probably the 24" although it's hard to be sure without something a keyboard to provide a scale.

Wacom Cintiq 24HD
Keyboard shot.
Daaaamn. That is a nice Cintiq. I do envy.
I'm here stuck with my bamboo. Although I guess it is good enough for basic photoshop work.
My new workstation desk is a heavy hardwood door (90" x 36") over a pair of steel sawhorses. It's big enough for my desktop PC and laptop with lots of room for peripherals, etc. I still have to stain the door and apply a couple coats of sealant. I'll post more pics when it's finished.
