Why not mod a bay cover to be able to be pushed back on one side as the power button. One thing slicker than a clean case is a clean case with gadget factor :)

I was checking out a modding page the other night, and on there it had somehow extended the eject button (tape?). With that done all u had to do it lightly tap on that stealth cover and it would be enough to hit the button and voila...it opens.

That's kinda what I was getting at ( I should have been more specific ). I know you can open the tray through windows - but I was thinking about what if windows was fuxored.

I haven't used a floppy drive in years, so I would be screwed if windows wouldn't boot and I couldn't get a boot disc in the drive.

How did you get your faceplate to stick. I mean what did you stick it to your drive with.

It looks pretty good

Double sided tape. The foam mounting stuff. Oh, and if your risky enough, you can solder an external eject button to the current one. Saw the guide on twistedmods.com, tried it, and it works!
