I have a Microsoft MN-500 Wireless Base Station connected to a computer with WinXP Home.
Downstairs, I have a WinME machine connected with a MN-510 wireless USB adapter.
These are the only two wireless devices in my home.
Now, on the PC connected to the router, everything works fine. But on the downstairs one, I cannot get an internet connection. It had been working fine for months until one day it just stopped working. I am able to connect to the network, but not the internet.
I called Microsoft tech support and reset all the settings and everything else I could think of, and nothing works. The tech said that it might be a problem with the DNS on WinME, but he was unable to help me with that. I was able to ping the ip he gave me for yahoo.com, but I cannot connect to the site.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
