Will a 1gb stick of micron PC 3200 work in an Athlon 64 3000?

Basically I am wondering if I should buy two 512s or one 1 gb dimm and if there is any difference.

Few of the board mfgrs even list 1 gb dimms on their websites.

Also - anyone have problems with Micron? I have to save money, so am likely to go Micron or Samsung (off of pricewatch...)

A 1 Gig stick should work fine. Micron is a good memory company and usually produces a quality product, again should work fine. Now as far as whether or not to go with a single 1Gig DRAM stick or two 512s is really just up to you. Personally I would go with two 512s, unless you think you future needs will call for more than 1 Gig of RAM in the box.
