Yes, i did read about the memory timings in the "memory FAQ" but i was wondering if anyone could tell me what to set them at for some extra performance in games. I have an ASUS A7N8X-Delux with 2x 256 Geil DDR PC3200 in dual channel mode. I would change them myself but i know that if you don't do it right it causes very bad things to happen. Any help would be appreciated :)

Best timings possible under JEDEC spec are 2-2-2-5.

For your RAM, I think the RAM is rated for 2.5-3-3-6.

Yes, best possible timing for p4's are 2-2-2-5, but the best possible performance on your mobo is at 2-2-2-11, but dont count on your ram being able to do that.

so if i want a modest increase in performance what should they be? Can i just knock those max. numbers by 3 or 4 each and have it be fine?
