I need to purchase some memory for a new system I'm in the process of building. This new system is going to have either an Athlon 64 3400+ or 3000+ processor. It will be replacing my ageing 800 MHz Intel machine. However I'm not sure which memory distributor to go with?

In the past I've gone with Crucial because I've never had any complaints with them and overall nothing but good experiences. Just to make sure I'm not going with a bad DDR memory distributor (may be a better one) what distributor do you guys recommend I go with for this system? I'm going to be buying 1 single stick of 1GB DDR PC3200.

I was originally going to go with Crucial, but I'm having second thoughts about spending that much money, but I want to get the best deal for my money/performance.

These are the different memory distributors I'm thinking of:

Corsair Model VS1GB400C3 - OEM
Crucial 184 Pin 1GB DDR PC-3200 16T - OEM
Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series

Might I suggest Mushkin, give them a call, I think you'll be impressed by their tech support and the willingness of the tech reps to offer advice. 1-800-569-1868
