i've had this old IBM Thinkpad sitting in the corner of my cage (what my parents call my room) for years, and I have no use for it. i have some roms put on there but that's about it. i have no other use for it. what can i do with it? it has really shitty battery life (45min or so) but it still works like a charm. it's running win98.

these are the specs:

pentium 166
16mb ram
can't remember the HD space (between 1 & 2gb)
4 mb video, i think

give me some tips!

Use it to learn linux.
Or you could use it to be your emulator machine.
NES, SNES, Genesis, Atari, Gameboy. 5 systems in one little package.

I sold an IBM laptop similar(but less powerful) to what you quoted on ebay for about 80 bucks...no CD-ROM, cleaned up load of Win95a(not a reload), no documentation.

Considering I'd pulled it out of a dumpster just 4 days prior, I was rather happy.
