Since having dsl installed, the connection seems to drop about 3 times a day. To get it working again, I have to restart the modem (a westel 2200). I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with this modem and if anyone knows how to fix it.

On another note, I would like the enable ip passthrough to the router but it does not seem to want to work while the modem is in routed bridge mode. Has anyone else run into this problem?

IP passthrough? what exactly do you mean also I'd have to say that you might want to look in the forums at broadbandreports they really stay ontop of issues like these!

Ill take a look at broadbandreports. IP passthrough allows the external IP to be used on one machine inside the modem (no NAT).
