Texture problem in Far Cry

Does anyone else have this problem when playing the demo? I get these weird black shapes on rocks, sharks and fish, but not on anything else. Changing any of the setting doesn't get rid of it either, or with AA on or off. Anyone have any suggestions or is this just a demo bug?

Yup, I got that when I had AF Seti to 4X or higher, with it set to App preference, it went away.

Haven't experienced this.. might be a problem with your vid. card settings. I know halo suffered from this very bad with ati cards. Go into your advanced vid card settings and make sure quality is set to its highest value.

Yep, turning off AF solves the problem. Owell, guess i'll have to live with the lower quality textures....
