Yep me hand aint so trusty I guess. A few months back I knifed up my 1700+ to unlock higher multipliers than 12.5, and it now only does either 17 or 24.

Yep. 17 OR 24 depending on what multipler settings I choose.

Anyone ever happen to see this ? I'm gonna guess I can fix it with some wire but I have no clue what I slipped up on =/

I was cutting the L3 and L5 to unlock higher multipliers IIRC. Maybe I cut another bordering one?

/edit now its on an NF7-S, running 17x141.

so sad, 141 !

you cant set anything lower on a NF7-S than 17?
also that mobo unlocks pretty much every chip you toss onto it...whyd you cut it man?

well, use a 9v battery to blow out your traces, and use defogger paint to retrace them. Set everything back to stock.

The NF7 will unlock for you.

Oh I forgot to say, I had another motherboard before the nf7-s that I needed to chop chop to get different multipliers. Now I have an nf7-s.

9v batt, damn good idea I would never have thought to totally wipe out the bridges and reconnect them! Sounds like what I'm gonna hafta do, then I'll drop some wires in the socket hopefully it will work then.

Thanks hopefully this will work nicely!

looking to push 2500mhz on air....:)
