Does anyone have a good pic of, or even know if, the heatsink is removeable on the Sapphire Radeon 9600 XT 256mb version?
Not the 128mb model that everyone seems to only be reviewing, don't get them confused. The 2 cards are physically different.
If it is, I'm looking to replace it with a decent/better HSF unit.
Sapphire stuck only a small weird looking T-shaped heatsink on the GPU and I'm trying to see if I can change that.
The only pic I've been able to see has been from the PcClub.com website. And it's not a very good one.
Reason I'm asking is because all it has is a heatsink, no HSF at all. And since it's only $165.99 (Item No: A9607147) I figure at even a %10 OC it aughta be running comparable to a 9700 Pro.
Your thoughts?
