PWS lockup ?

Ok., I am sitting at my machine gaming (1 hour straight) Air conditioner is on two monitors , cordless, wireless router, cable modem , printer , Pc Speakers , cell phone chargers , camera on charge. You get the picture. four outlets running full bore , APC UPS ............

Bang curcuit breaker goes. machine goes dead , I mean dead APC did not even havea chance to react . Ihear one beep from the UPS.


I go reset the breaker and return to my rig and hit the pwer button ..nothing

I assume I some how lost the supply or my new vid card toasted. I pull the tower out and yank the vid card. I pop in another card and push the button. Nada

I disconnect all hd's and other devices .nada (no green light on mobo either)

I grab another pws and plug it into the mobo and get green and she powers up on swtich on. OK good.

I shut down and put my new video card back in an bang she powers up ..cool

But I am bumbed that my PCP&C is toasted. I am denial so i plug the PCP&C back in and she powers up .wierd


My question is do these supplies go into overload protection? It seems to be funcioning normal now. THePWS was down for maybe 10 minutes before i got it to power on again
