I am going to look in to buying one of those all in one printers scanner things. Anyone know if that will work with Linux?

If not, what should I look for when finding a Linux printer?

hp has pretty good and up to date drivers.. i have never had problems with there stuff and cups. I have an older lexmark laser that still works with linux too. the hp1210, 1350, 2175, 2410, 2510, 6110, 7110, 7130 all work as far as i know... for printing.. don't do to much scanning in linux though, not sure if hp has drivers for the scanning parts of these all-in-ones.

AFAIK scanning in Linux is only available through SANE, so if there's a SANE backend and/or frontend for the scanner component, should be supported ;)
