ok, if you delete a partition on a Fat32 HD. is there anyway to retrieve the information off that drive? Please help if you can. Thanks guys.

There is some software available that claims to do it...but it's usually very expensive, and doesn't work 100% of the time.

No, I do not think you will be able to retrieve anything once the partition is deleted.

There are some partition recover tools, just search on google.

fdisk can recover the MBR by using the following command:

fdisk /MBR

fdisk assumes your C: drive is where you want the MBR repaired. Give it a shot.

Otherwise, you might try sysinternals.com for some tools.

direct sector by sector scan
File Scavenger
you can trial it (but rescue is limited) $40 (not that expensive)

for repair of partition tables Disk Patch also $40
its generally recommended you rescue first then attempt repairs

I find it unlikely he deleted his system partition but in the event that was done from outside of windows somehow
fixmbr

note > If an invalid or nonstandard partition table signature is detected, you will be prompted whether you want to continue. If you are not having problems accessing your drives, you should not continue. Writing a new master boot record to your system partition could damage your partition tables and cause your partitions to become inaccessible.
