P4C800-E Deluxe and second SATA drive

I have a P4C800-E Deluxe, and have been using a single 74 Gig WD Raptor as SATA 0. I decided to add a second SATA drive as SATA 1 (a WD 200 Gig) and have the following problem:
- The BIOS can see both drives
- Device Manager in XP sees both drives
but the Drive does NOT show up in My Computer.

I am running Windows XP SP1.

I am not using SATA 3 or 4 so the RAID controller settings and/or drivers are not an issue.

Is there anything obvious that I am missing??

My question would be - did you ever partition/format that drive? It would only show in "my computer" if it's a valid partition. I have to admit that I never had that problem with a WinXP system, but under the 95- ME series that was usually the problem if a drive was not showing under Windows. I'm sure your drive came with some kind of (usually useless) driver disk. It may have the necessary utility on it.

Thanks, I finally fixed the problem by doing an aborted XP install on just that drive alone.
