Opteron Gaming benchies.

Just thought this would be helpful for those wondering just how an Opteron performs in games. Its a 244 they are testing (1.8 ghz) so try and "wing it" when choosing a slower Opteron processor.

well that would be helpful if...the link wasn't 7 months old and tested with a PCI video card! There are new 940 pin motherboards with AGP slots for REAL gaming.

Well all an FX-51 is is an Opteron with two of its hypertransport links disabled. So all in all a single Opteron is going to perform as well or better then an FX-51 at the same speeds.

Well I assume "smart"(ass) readers such as yourself would recognize this as something for "people wondering how an opteron would perform in games". Yea its a bit old but as you stated the new boards and cards are out so the benches should be alot faster. SO QUIT COMPLAINING!
