i'm planning to get a new dvd burner

the pioneer a06/106 looks good

does anyone know know anything about the
Pioneer DVR-107 8X DVD+/-RW
compared to the a06/106


which do you guys recommend?
 
i recently purchased the a07. i never used the a06 so i can't compare the two. i have made several dvd's that work without a hitch in my set top dvd player. once the 8x media comes out it will burn much faster than the a06. hope this helps.
 
The A07 is a nice drive, but I'd also recommend the NEC-ND2500A, 105$ shipped at the Egg, excellent write quality and media compatibility.

funny..i looked into that one and decided to get this one
i've read some great reviews on it
 
Unless you have the extra cash to drop on 8x medias, get yourself the A06.106. Pioneer makes really good DVD burner, so either way you will be making the right move.
