"New" Driver version on BFG 6800 GT OC's CD???

The other day that I got my GT, I told myself that the drivers on the CD are probably "old", but I installed them anyway. I was shocked that when I attempted to install the latest ones that is posted on the official nVIDIA's web was older! How's that possible!?

Yea, I'm pretty sure that nvidia is shipping out beta drivers right now.

61.76 were on NVIDIA's site since yesterday. The version on the CD are 61.21 (CD ver 4.1).

Not necessarily. WHQL are not the only non-beta drivers. For example 61.21 is WHQL for Win9x/ME and not WHQL for WinXP/2000, but that doesn't mean they are beta on WinXP/2000. The readme.txt file doesn't state 61.21 is beta, which beta drivers (if they even have a readme.txt) normally do.
