Min Specs to get good gameplay for Oblivion

What's the minimum specs I need for a computer and video card in order to at least enjoy some of the nice goodies in graphics and gameplay?

I hear at least 1 GB RAM
Processor Speed matter?
6800 GS? GT? something else? (unlockable, how does this work, need to OC also?)

i'd like to play 1024x768 resolution at least with some fair FPS and maybe AA on or something

how fast does it load areas up also with 1 GB of RAM?

You'll want a gig of ram. Any recent processor will do, I haven't noticed a difference between stock speed (2.2 ghz) and overclocked to 2.8 ghz, so I would bet that any Athlon 3200 or above would be fine.

As for video card, you'll really want something nice for this one. I would recommend at least an ATI X1800 or 6800 GT for the level of details you want.

I'd say you'd want atleast an A64(my X2 runs this game well @2ghz and better at 2.5)... might as well make it 2.6+ for a P4. Also atleast a gig of ram and a X800/6800 series or better.
