Maxtor 80 Gig SATA

I just installed this drive on a Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-L (Rev 2.0). What should it be showing up in windows device manger? I installed windows on it no problem and it is configured in Bios as Sata drive 0. It is the only drive in my system. In windows device manger it shows up as "Ultra DMA Mode 5" Is there a driver I need to install I cannot find any on Gigabytes website. Here is the link to the motherboard, and drive.

Is there a SATA FAQ? I'm starting to think that we need one, but to answer your question...no I have no idea whats going on. Why do you think you need a driver? It sounds like everythings alright.

Well isnt Sata 150mbs? If it is why is the drive doing "Ultra DMA Mode 5" wich is ATA 100? Or is there no difference?

Yes but because of the limitations of the platers you won't see speeds close to that (150Mb). More like a 5% differences in speed over PATA.
