Is there a benefit to doing this? Which tools or utilities?

Thanks but after "planning to do a Hackintosh next year" for a bunch of years, I decided that an emulated Mac wouldn't help me much, except for bragging rights. It can be a real time sink, especially now that Apple has abandoned X64 architecture chips.

If I have the time (ha, ha, ha) I would get deeper into Linux.
