i have been toying with the idea of making my very own aluminium case, and by that i mean handcrafting it somehow. When i get it done, im going to put an lcd in the front and a small mobo inside (itx or something alike). The idea is to make an mp3 box which looks like my stereo 
which is why it has to small of course and be black. Right now, i have some problems :
1) I dont know the first thing about working with aluminium , does it require special tools ? is it expensive ? so on.
2) Im actually a noob when it comes to modding :> but learning by doing is a favorite of mine
so anyway, i need feedback, suggestions and ideas and oppinions yadda yadda yadda
