Don't know if this belongs here, but it does sorta involve monitors.

I have a 17" CRT and a 20" TV sitting next to each other on my desk. When the TV is on the CRT gets all shakey. I know this is from the magnets in the TV, I was wondering if there was any kind of material I could put between them that would block the magnetic interference.

TV tuner or LCD is out of the question. I need something cheap :D

really it does work...

Ramfart: Way to expensive ($75 is minium order )
Zardoz: I don't have Reynolds alum. foil. Think a cheap off-brand from the local supermarket will work ? :p

Thanks for the suggestions. :)

Edit: Alum. Foil didnt work at all. Maybe I'm using it wrong ?

Try grounding the foil somehow, that may help. Copper or brass is better than aluminum. But with that minimum order you may as well build a metal box made of copper sheet
