Looking for a 17" CRT that is small in the rear....

Must be gray, silver, or black. I want one that is short in the rear meaning one with a short length from front to rear.

As for the question, every CRT I've seen is not very depth-friendly. They usually do extend 16 - 17 inches. I'd say just go for a 15 inch LCD if you need a thin monitor.

If not, I think the Viewsonic G70F is supposed to be 1 inch less in depth.

Well, of course they're not going to be small, but there's smaller ones. I can't think of any brands off the top of my head, but I know my sister got one a while back.

Trinitrons have the smallest electron guns out of all the monitors. Least lengthy.
