I need some help with this one, before I go just buy a sound card and deal with it. I've got an IS7-E rev 1.2 and the onboard sound keeps cutting out on me. If I'm in a game, I have to reset the defaults for the sound card and it will work again for a short while, but I can't even play for more than 2-3 minutes without it going out. It will also do it if I try to watch movies or listen to music. I've tried flashing the BIOS up to 20, then back down to 19, I've tried the drivers for the ALC650 from Realtek's site and the ones that come bundled with the board, I have moved my IEEE 1394 card from one slot to another and even pulled it out of the system, I've cleared the CMOS on the board, I updated the Intel Chipset Drivers and I've even reinstalled Windows XP from scratch. If no one has any ideas, I'll just buy a sound card. Here's my system specs in case they help:

IS7-E mobo
P4 1.6A @ 2.13 (133FSB)
512MB PC2100
MSI 64MB GF4 Ti4200
Siig IEEE1394 card (Via chipset)
WinXP Pro, SP1
