Intel Settles Legal Dispute In China

Intel says it has settled a copyright infringement dispute with a Chinese company that makes network and telecommunications equipment. A countersuit by the company in question has also been dropped.

"Continuing a lawsuit doesn't benefit each company's best commercial interests," the companies said in a joint statement. Beijing Donjin Xinda Technology Co., the Shenzhen Donjin unit that filed the countersuit, also signed the statement.
