IDE Compact flash things.

This probably dumb, but. Would there be a gain in the loading times with windows XP installed on a 2gb CF card and this http://shop.store.yahoo.com/ituner/cfdisk5d.html ?
Or will it not work?

CompactFlash cards are much slower than hardrives. So your would increase your load times dramatically.

Not to mention CompactFlash, like all flash memory, has a limited write life. You can only erase/write to a flash memory cell so many times.
