HUGE vid card cooler cheap!

i've never seen that before but it is BAD ASS. If I had the cash lying around I'd take it!
 
you can make one pretty easily. Go down to ratshack, pick up some Circuit Board. Take an old PCI card and cut the CB from ratshack into it's general shape. Take the bracket off of the old pci card and attach it to the CB. Cut the whole size you desire for the fan in the CB, install and you're set. :)


I did have a link to the old thread that someone did this, but since search is DOA I can't search for it. :(
 
That setup would be nice with 3 thermal or variable speed controlled fans. Otherwise i dread the thought of adding 3 more loud case fans (yippy!)
 
isn't that a little excessive for your video card? i wonder how loud those fans are
