howto clean laptop keyboard

i have a old gateway solo were my dumb friend got apple juice in it. anyways i have the keyboard removed and was looking for a way to clean it

i would rather not replace it since the comp is not worth much

so you have all the keys off? and the plastic part of it separate?

well then let all the keys take a nice (water) bath, and stick the keyboard in the washing machine.

let airdry for a day or so.

put it back together.

(note. i take no responsibility what-so-ever for anything bad that happens)

this should be a safe technique; however, i for one have never had to do it and therefore cannot vouchsafe it.

HEY DUSTER GO AND DO YOUR JOB , ide use one of those caned air to blow the dirt under the keys away and then id use a wet towel(water) to wipe the keys clean

thanks for the help, i took off half the keys to get it all cleaned and works like a champ

but the darn laptop will not post so i guess it was a waste of time kind of

canned air and wipe the keys off with some antistatic stuff... like Endust for Electronics. Remember not to spray directly on the keys of course.
