Grantsdale/Alderwood Question

The two new chipsets coming out in April, Intel Grantsdale and Intel Alderwood. I read in a review off Anandtech this morning that these two new chipsets will support S478 and then LGA775?

Does this mean that you could buy a S478 Prescott to hold you and then your board would still be good for the new LGA775 chips coming out later in the year? Or better yet could you stick a 2.4c in there to hold you until LGA775 comes out?

Theoretically, from what I read. It will become clearer as the boards actually come out.

If they do, it would probably be through some kind of adapter like back in the PIII days. However, that doesn't seem likely, as they would want to force you to buy a new product.
