e-Machines currently uses AMD CPU's, Gateway stopped doing that years ago...

Now that Gateway has aquired e-Machines, do you guys think we'll see e-machines phased out? Perhaps no longer use AMD cpu's? If that's the case, what happens to all the people who currently own e-machines? (You guys with the A64 laptops).

I'm worried. Gateway has yet to achieve anything notable in products in over 5 years. The last real innovative product was back with the P200.

All eMachines needs is another shitty managing team; I strongly hope this gets shut down in legislation and fails, somehow. Gateway is a dying behemoth. Put it out of it's misery.

I agree, e-machines were on the up and up. The last thing they need is Gateway going in there and fucking it all up.

Edit: By the way, does anyone have a link?
