Free Vista Business/Office 2007 1099

Did anyone that got both Vista Business and Office 2007 early last year get a 1099 from MS? AFAIK, I never did. I don't know if they're reporting it as income or not and if they are, I have no idea how much income they're reporting.

if anyone knows, please respond....gotta finish up my taxes.

I actually received two copies of Business and one Office 2007. I have received nothing from. I finished my taxes and sent the IRS their money. I wouldn't worry about it.

Sounds good to me. I'm a bit surprised they went to all the trouble of saying you'd have to pay taxes and get a 1099 and then not bother to send one out...not even via email.
