What is standard brightness? About 100mcd? Probably bright enough for indicators but not bright enough to light up stuff. I still have several leds leftover from when I bought 500 on ebay last year so I don't think I need any more right now.

Which seller have you found that sells them for that cheap? That would be awesome. Probably put the people that are gouging on the FS/FT forums out of business too.
