Hey there, hope you dont mind but i posted this on another forum also..
I was just typing on my laptop not 20mins before this happend. All of a sudden i go to type in a password and nothing comes up on the screen, so i rebooted cos none of the keys woere working at all... same thing happend. Rebooted again and tested it before it got to windows by trying to enter the bios.. and nothing happens.
Now, obviously they keyboard is malfunctioning.. but what could be the problem, and how was it caused!
I started to take the laptop apart, but only got so far as i didnt have the right size screw driver. (will buy one tomorrow).. my plan is to disconnect and reconnect it, in the vain hope it works!
I cannot believe that a keyboard like this can just fail on me for no reason. That seems rediculous, so any clues? Has this happend to any of you?
