can i flash my ati 9800 pro 128mb to xt?

i have read in the thread somewhere about ppl flashing their 9800 pro to xt... i'd like some informations on this, any links?

i asked my friend if i can flash it, he said yes...

i have the samsung 2.8ns memory

and im new to flashing the bios, can you guys hook me up with this? i'd be pissed if i do anything wrong!

and if you haven't done it yet, I'd advise against it. A [H] guy said it was really risky... ready to risk losing 300 dollars to gain 50 dollars worth of card?

I flashed my Sapphire 9800pro 128mb to an XT one, I still overclock it a bit past xt speeds...havent seen any problems with it, been done for about 2 months...
 
I flashed my Gigabyte 9800 Pro to 9800XT. Didnt offer any more headroom for overclocking. Im still at 440/760 but hey its all about bragging rights. How many people you know with a 9800XT 128mb? ;):D
 
I flashed and didn't get any improvement, and the screen blanking during boot is annoying, so I flashed back, why put the extra juice to it if I don't need it.
